Terms of Service
What Buglyst is
Buglyst is an educational platform for practicing software debugging. It provides challenge scenarios derived from real bug patterns. Challenges are simplified, self-contained, and intended for learning purposes only.
Acceptable use
- Do not submit malicious, destructive, or excessively large content into workspaces. This includes shell injection payloads, infinite loops designed to exhaust resources, or content intended to compromise the service.
- Do not attempt to extract hidden validation logic, solution patches, or other non-public challenge content through the API or any other means.
- Do not copy proprietary or privately licensed source code into challenge workspaces.
- Do not use automated tooling to spam workspace creation, file writes, or submissions beyond normal practice usage.
- Company-branded practice tracks (e.g., tracks labelled with company names) are independently created practice content. They are not official material produced by or affiliated with those companies.
No guarantees
Buglyst is provided as-is during beta. We make no guarantee of uptime, availability, data persistence, or fitness for any particular purpose, including interview preparation or professional certification. Challenge content may change, be removed, or have errors.
Intellectual property
Challenge scenarios, descriptions, and platform code are the property of Buglyst. Third-party open-source code used in challenges retains its original licence. You retain ownership of code you write in workspaces.
Termination
We reserve the right to block sessions or IPs that violate these terms or abuse the service, without prior notice.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
